For you or for someone else... Where to begin. So many colors and choices, although I will say that some sizes are limited in certain colors. All items will be printed with "ardha moon yoga est. 2013" in white lettering as shown in the picture originally posted on Facebook and above. Some colors cost more, but there so many options that it would take me forever to post each size, color option, and price. The tanks. I own all styles and I love them all. I usually buy a medium. I need the length and like a little extra room for tucking. All tank styles will cost between $20-$22.50. I have a few of each at the studio if you'd like to try on for sizing. I only own the high necks in size medium- but maybe it will help you decide one way or the other. Men's long sleeve T-shirt, is a uni-sex shirt. They are a more fitted cut and super comfy. Sizing is tough b/c it depends on how you like to wear your shirts. I buy both the small and the medium so I'm probably not helping you. If you want it to be lose I would stay with your normal size, if you teeter between two sizes and want it more fitted, I'd suggest smaller, but that's just me. If you want it loose- maybe jump up a size. (I know, I'm being super helpful here!) I own the Heather deep teal and its the best color ever, but so many great colors to choose from truly. I'm trying not to buy more than 5...we'll see! These will cost $22.50. (Some colors and sizes will be slightly more, but won't go over $25.) Crew neck sweatshirts are $35. Unfortunately Heather Navy is currently only available is XS, Sm, and Med. I wear a medium and its loose. Again- super soft. I have all three colors. I don't have a favorite. I'm fibbing- I love the Heather Navy. I will watch to see if more sizes become available before I place an order. Black is currently out of stock in size Large. Dark Grey Heather is out of stock size XL. I have been specifically waiting for this item and they tend to disappear quickly. For that reason I may cut off orders for this specific item in a week- Feb 2nd- unless they still have stock. (Sweatshirts are available in 2XL but will cost $40) Hooded sweatshirts. I haven't bought one of these yet, but am intrigued. These will cost between $35-40 depending on color. Again- so many, options. I think I'm going to get the Heather Forrest so I can wear it to Tiffin Women's Lacrosse games next year!! For the young yogi in your life!!! All items are made by Bella Canvas and will be printed by D & M Silkscreening in Holt. Girls tank tops will cost $16.50 and uni-sex sweatshirts will cost $32.50. Both items are available is size Sm, Med, and Large. Girls T-shirts will cost $15. T-shirts are available in Sm, Med, Large and X-large Sizes. Most colors and sizes are available for all items. SIZING I do have size charts if you aren't sure which size to get. Just email me at [email protected] or text me at #517-290-8773 and I can send them to you. TURNAROUND I will do my very best to get these to you asap. I purchase from a vendor located on the east coast and usually I get the items fairly quick. However, I haven't made a purchase during COVID so I don't know what to expect. I'm choosing to hope for the best. As soon as I receive them I will drop them off to be printed. I just spoke to D & M Silkscreening today and their turnaround will be affected by what MHSAA decides in the near future about winter sports. I'm praying the kids are allowed to play and will happily wait just a tad bit longer to get the items back. They promised it wouldn't be excessive- but again, Covid. If you come to the studio I will have them there for pick-up as soon as they arrive. If you are purchasing from far away we can discuss our options. I do deliver for the small fee of getting to see your smiling face. (If we happen to drink some wine...so be it!) Depending on how soon I can travel your way...I might need you to be patient. If I'm shipping to you we can discuss options. ORDERING Again- by email or text works. I can send you your total cost before you actually commit. After you agree to the cost I can send you my VENMO info. Thanks for reading all of this and considering or making a purchase. I get all of these items and offer them to you all at cost. I simply appreciate your cute bodies advertising my dream. I wish I could offer these items at a lesser cost to you, but I think Covid has hit everyone hard and unfortunately it seems to fall back on the consumer. Also- I have zero desire to enter into the retail world- definitely not part of the dream, not even a little bit. But seriously- thank you. You guys always hold me up...and I will forever be grateful.
Take 5...(breaths- 5 seconds to inhale, 5 seconds to exhale- or 5 minutes to connect). Or heck...add a "0" and come to class. You get it 5-0 !?! I crack myself up. But really- if you can inhale for 5-6 seconds and then exhale for 5-6 seconds, and complete that 5 times- you will have stolen a minute for yourself. And everyone has a minute! love- -e

I love this movie. I watch it every holiday season. This and the Family Stone are probably two of my favorites.
But this one...this one fits right now. I don't for one second think that this is any worse for me than it is for any of you. We are all "going to war" against Covid-19 and how it has affected and continues to affect our lives. I have decided that I am not going to give up. I am not willing to just walk away. So....I have accepted the fact that I am going to have to learn to embrace on-line teaching. Be patient with me...please. The idea of teaching a live class but not being able to interact with you is a bit much for this girl. When I forget where I am or say the wrong thing you guys won't be there to help me through. I will have to laugh in that room alone...promise me you will be laughing on the other side. I am just going to have to decide not to over critique myself....wish me luck!! I guess I am going to have to practice what I preach :) I have changed platforms for my on demand video library. I am now using Moxie and you can find me at https://moxie.xyz/ardhamoon. I think it's going to be easier for both you and me. You can sign up for Live classes or access my on demand video library at any time. I just started and am building the library. I can't upload previously recorded classes so this library will build as I complete on-line classes. I will be adding on-line live classes to the Mindbody schedule, but you will have to go through the moxie web app to sign up for class and make a payment. You can also click the "The Color is Yellow Online Video Library" button in the navigation bar and there is a button for a direct link to the moxie website. I have also attached a button at the bottom of this post. LIVE classes will be $10. Weekly unlimited access to LIVE classes and the video on demand library will be $20. An unlimited monthly subscription to the on demand video library will be $60 a month. I realize it's going to take me a week to build that library in order to make a monthly subscription worthwhile, but two have already posted and I will be hosting three more LIVE classes before Monday...hopefully. Right now there is a slow vinyasa class and a stretch and restore class. I realize many of you have class packages. Unfortunately I can't apply those to your Moxie account. I have extended all expiration dates on existing packages and they will be there for you to use once we can all be at the studio again. I am happy to apply existing credit to a private lesson if you'd prefer. Private lessons are also an option if you just don't care for online yoga. Call me for details. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season....even though it may be different. I will probably watch this movie again tonight, drink a little wine, and finish putting up my inside Christmas decorations. I bought my first present yesterday and the Larson-Griswold outside tree will make an appearance Sunday hopefully. love to you all... -e Hello again-
Yes, It has been almost two weeks since I last told you that I would be offering an on-line weekly yoga subscription. I won't go into a long winded explanation here as it is all explained when you sign up for the program. I will tell you that I have learned a ridiculous amount about GB, and encoding, and sound, and....the list goes on and on...and to be honest, I'm still totally winging it. Lots of hours put in both here and in my other world. Totally expected- because, well, that's life. I will be adding several types of instructional videos to the library. My intention is to post similar classes that would be taking place at the studio each day. If you are interested in subscribing the cost is $15 weekly. All videos added to the library will remain in the library throughout this "stay home/stay safe" adventure. The first step is to purchase the subscription on the Mindbody site/app. You will find it under the pricing options. I will be watching sales so I can contact you, but please feel free to send me an email at [email protected] or text me at 517-290-8773 and I will contact you as soon as I am able. I will be emailing you a link that will remain active for the full seven days from the time the link is activated. Here we go- thanks for being patient with me! -e Kind of crazy- kind of meant to be.So you all know I am all about energy and how everything happens for a reason. I somewhat explain in this video where I have been, and why. I have always promised to be authentic and I needed to get myself in check before I could be beneficial to any of you. Lots to think about...lots to settle...lots to consider.
I'm being honest when I tell you that the idea of creating an on-line yoga class made me feel guilty. It's scary to have to close the doors- it makes paying the rent fairly challenging. But, as I watched studio after studio close, I forced myself to focus on the positive. I still have an income and I can tighten the purse strings at home to hopefully cover my yoga obligations. I couldn't stop thinking about other studio owners who don't have that luxury- and thought it would be selfish of me to do what they were doing in order to "survive." Over the past few days I have really thought long and hard about things....and I have come to this conclusion. It's not about "surviving"....its about supporting. It's about connections, and friendships, and being able to get a glimpse of our usual "normal." Honest- I miss you guys. I miss hearing about your days, your celebrations, your struggles. I miss the bright spot that room is in my life-it's selfish- but it's true. I love teaching yoga- I love laughing and smiling and moving. I also think the page I'm currently building will allow us all to communicate through a message board. Again-I'm learning over here and think I am doing this all right. We'll see. So, I'm back. I am going to try this video yoga thing. I have decided the best way to do this is to offer a weekly subscription on-line. I will be posting videos- vinyasa, restorative, mindful. Some will be 30 mins , some will be 45 mins, and some may be a whole hour. Truthfully I am still figuring it all out but hope to be up and running this weekend. A weekly subscription will cost $15 and will be purchased through the MIndbody site. Any videos posted will be available to you until this "stay at home" order is over. I am going to ask you to text me to let me know you are interested. Then, I will send you instructions for how to join the group once it goes LIVE and purchase your subscription. I named this group "The color is yellow"- because for whatever reason I was drawn to yellow today. Yellow is the color of the the solar plexus chakra, Manipura, the ‘jewel city’ and is associated with emotions, confidence, will power, decisions, personal opinions, purpose. This chakra governs the emotional body and it is your power and transformation centre. The animal totem of this chakra is the ram. This male sheep is the symbol of conquest, personal power and new beginnings. The ram leaps and hops effortlessly in a difficult terrain where no one else dares going. Tonight we were supposed to be watching both of our children participate in their first lacrosse games of this season. They are both Holt Rams. If that's not a sign....I don't know what else could be. So here we go...take a step forward with me! The link is not attached yet, but will be as soon as the videos are uploaded and I know everything is working properly!! See you soon! -e So, to say I am not computer savvy would be a gross understatement. Although weebly is quite user friendly, I still get frustrated and annoyed with trying to create a presentable web-site. I tend to like things "busy" and "colorful"...which means I get carried away. Clutter makes me comfortable. Seriously. Nothing makes me feel better than to have my "shit" all around me. I am the only person in my genetic line that feels that way. Perhaps my mom has some explaining to do. Just kidding Reenie baby- (she reads these...all of them. She is very proud of me!) True story....I am part Polish. I am a ton German- which means I am more than a "part" Polish. Both sides of the family are filled with it. My paternal grandmother bought me the most beautiful polish princess dress once. My mother hated it. With a passion. With her entire being. I wore that dress everywhere. My mom used to suggest I wear something else, anything else. I think I can still remember the eye roll and utter disappointment on her face when I proudly appeared from my room, once again, wearing my beautiful pink, with multiple layers of ruffles, dress. She would always smile though and then talk through her teeth....a true sign she was holding her tongue. Where was I going with this? Oh yes, trying to build this website...again. Many of you know I transitioned last year from being a yoga studio that offered massage to just being a yoga studio. With that came the opportunity to become "Ardha Moon Yoga" again. Since we don't offer massage, and won't be offering massage, I decided it would make sense to remove the word "Massage" from our domain site. Changing locations unexpectedly also begged for a fresh start. I started this transfer back in November. Yup. Holy hell- I learned quickly that's a big deal apparently....at least for weebly. Nothing can be done by phone. They don't trust anyone. Trying to get everything transferred was more difficult than it should have been, so I gave up. Yup- 100% threw in the towel and walked away. (This says a lot because I can be hard headed and unwilling to accept defeat. *Note- it did take me 5 months to give in and my decision was fueled by an expiring domain notification.) I still think that Weebly has some of the most ridiculous policies I have ever been subjected to and that says a lot when I also work for the government. Now, you may be thinking- why would you stay with weebly? Fair question with a simple answer- I know how it works and I'm not afraid to hit enter or change something. They also have lots of options, and colors, and layouts. The opportunity for one to lose hours of their life creating is absurd. So- the new website will be up and running shortly. You will be able to find me at www.ardhamoonyoga.com The old site will only get you to the Go-Daddy page. It will tell you the domain no longer exists, because it doesn't. I debated attaching the old domain to the new domain...at least for a little bit, but I think I have decided against that. I will be changing everything and announcing the change in class. It should be much easier for all of you than it has been for me. Have a great Tuesday....or Wednesday....Or Thursday. I have no idea when this site will actually go live. By the way- Keister is from the German word "kiste" which means box or case--but the slang sense of rump also exists in the German language. To be honest, I didn't even realize I was using a "German word"....I was just trying not to use the word ass. Here's hoping for the best- e |

Sharing my thoughts-I like to talk too much...it's a gift really. I have decided that writing it all down will be much easier for you to tolerate. In this space I promise to be authentic. I have been told that I often make it all look easy...and it's not. I promise. -e Archives
