I am unapologetically honest.  

An empty nest...

2021 was a tough year for me.  In short, both of my kiddos flew the nest.  We also sold the home that raised them and moved over an hour away from everyone and everything I love. Our son was stationed in Guam...(super, close to Michigan)...and our daughter went to college over four hours away in Ohio. I commute around 3-4 hours a day (depending on weather and construction) and it took and continues to take a toll on me.

So honestly, I sat down.  I had never sat down before.  I discovered Netflix-specifically The Marvelous Ms. Maisel- and the true comfort of my favorite chair.  A roaring fire in the wood stove and a glass full of wine was all it took.  Hours....I spent hours...just sitting down.

I had never done that before.  It was delightful, until it wasn't.  I gained weight, my body started to ache, and my brain just became foggy.  It got to the point where I didn't even recognize myself anymore. Then, it got to the point that I didn't care.  I had nothing left to give.  

During the Covid lockdown in Michigan I fought teaching on-line.  To be honest, I think the thought of it overwhelmed me.  But now, I see it as an opportunity to connect with so much of what I am missing.  I have been "preaching" the importance of self-care for so long, and I simply just forgot about it...forgot about me.

I love to be challenged and I believe it's important to take a chance on yourself.  This program is me, doing just that.  I truly hope you find benefit in moving with me.  I also hope this reminds you to find those stolen moments of reconnection throughout your day. It's necessary to sit down, but you've also got to stand up.  Personally, I have decided to hit the re-start button. 

The anchor is in honor of all things important to me and a nod to my sailor.  It also serves as a reminder that I am worth it. All of it. 

Fast forward, because well, now it's the end of 2023.  I stood up and literally fell down again.  My dad passed away in April, my dog died in June, and I fell down a concrete flight of stairs and demolished my right ankle in July.  But- I am up again.  And this time...it's truly time to put this part of my dream into motion. 
January 1, 2024 is my set launch date.  Set in stone.  Here we go...

I'm trying my best to keep this beyond reasonable and affordable. 
I know that you have several options and I appreciate you choosing this program.
My intention is to offer 12 LIVE classes a month.  The days and times will vary until I figure out what times work best for the majority. Please feel free to email me your "wants"!.  I work full-time as well right now which eliminates a weekday morning option right now.  Monday and Thursday evenings will be in the rotation as well as Saturday and Sundays.  Weekend mornings are also on the list.  All LIVE classes will be become part of the On-Demand Library.  The On-Demand Library will have additional classes as well as offer several series options.  (military parents/ modifications/chair/etc)

One class will be a standard $5, whether you choose the LIVE or On-Demand option.

Unlimited monthly LIVE or Unlimited On- Demand classes will be $10.

Unlimited monthly LIVE and Unlimited monthly On-Demand classes will be $12.
