Bonjour Friends-

I have been practicing yoga since early 2007.
I found Yoga after a foot injury led me to find something I could do, while going through rehabilitation.  I was hooked instantly and began "craving" the connection I was learning to make between my body and my mind.  Through Yoga I was able to not only heal several physical injuries, but also emotional ones. I was able to "let go" of apologies never received and find peace with things that had challenged me. In short, I found myself again! 
This led me on a journey where I obtained my 200 hr certification to teach Vinyasa. 


My desire to teach came from wanting to help others to feel comfortable in their own bodies again.  To feel the sense of calm Yoga can bring to the body and mind.  To understand self-acceptance is a necessary beginning and the best gift you can give yourself.  Honestly, I wanted to help people let go of whatever was holding them back. 

I continue to want to learn and understand more.  I have been training under Briohny Smyth and Dice Lida Klein.  I earned an additional 200 hr certification in their Fit Flow Style in February of 2015.  I will continue to study under them as they played an integral part in helping me conquer my fears.  I have promised myself that I will continue to be a student of this practice and of my own.  I love taking road trips and exploring the communities around the studios where I am able to practice.  I have met so many amazing people and have been influenced by them, both on and off of their mats.  
 
I'm also a Practitioner of Yoga Tune Up Ball Therapy.

I am married to a great guy who "pushed" me to follow this dream.  He believes in me more than I believe in myself at times. He knows I need this and he helped me (okay, I helped him) build this studio. 
I am "Mom" to two amazing kiddos. 
I could talk about them for hours so I will leave it at that one sentence and this one word....LOVE! 
Like you I have several other roles in this life....
Right now, I am working on staying true to who I am today.

Hello Everyone! 
I am Kelli and I am so happy to be part of Ardha Moon Yoga.  I have practiced yoga for over 18 years and it is a pure love of mine. I finished my Yoga Teacher Training in March 2017 and I absolutely love teaching yoga.  I am beyond fascinated with the power of yoga and what it can bring to your body, mind, and spirit.  Yoga is very healing in so many ways.  By day, I am a family practice Physician Assistant and believe that yoga is a powerful tool for keeping the body strong, the mind calm, and your spirit empowered.  For years I have been counseling patients on how to better their health and it only made sense to start incorporating my love and knowledge of yoga into my practice.  Over the last two years, I have studied under Anodea Judith, who is a world-wide leader in Chakra Yoga. I am happy to be able to bring my knowledge of Chakra Yoga to our studio!  When I am not practicing yoga or  medicine, I am usually travelling the world with my husband,  playing with my "fur" children or diving into a new recipe in my kitchen.Thank you so much to Ellen for allowing  me to have a home at her studio.
So, let's grab a mat and practice together!

My name  is Ashley !
I took an intensive YTT program with the Awakened Life School of Yoga's program held in Nosara, Costa Rica.  I'm certified in Vinyasa, Meditation, Restorative Yoga, and Yoga Nidra. 
Through meditation I have found a knack for guiding people through life in a way that really resonates with them... and now help individuals with life coaching skills through meditation.
When I was younger I went through tough emotional times with personal events in my own life and started seeking out help with meditation. 
So, I guess you could say, I started with the more spiritual path of yoga.
  I have been practicing meditation for about 16 years and believe full heartedly that it helps in every aspect of my life. 
In my late 20's I started getting into all aspects of fitness. 
Mostly weight lifting and running. 
After finding a happiness through fitness I knew I wanted to help people and started seeking out personal trainer programs. 
Through all of this, I started taking yoga classes. 
Mainly Vinyasa. 
I really fell in love with it and knew that this was the path I wanted to use to help people. 
After that was history...
I went to school and came home to take some time off and then mainly worked one on one with my clients.   That was my specialty for awhile before starting to teach classes. 
​Two years later, Here I am!  Hoping to bring you joy and happiness through yoga, just like I have found for myself throughout the years.
I can't promise that I am the perfect teacher...but I can teach you how to make your practice perfect and safe for you as an individual.
