Welcome Sisters!
How are you today? Seriously. Stop. Take a deep breath in and exhale. Now, Think about it. How are you today?
Rarely do we ever take the time to check in and truly find out the answer to that question. Heck, how often do you even ask it? I think we avoid this question because sometimes the answer isn't all that pretty. I'm here to tell you, whatever that answer, however it looks, ...let it be. Don't judge it, don't change it, and most certainly don't ignore it. We get so caught up in our expectations, not just our own, we also get caught up in everyone else's. There is no right answer...there is this moment and you. Breathe. How are you?
I'm glad you found your way here. My intention is to create and offer you a space where you can find your steady ground within yourself. Finding this space through self-care will help you to "anchor in" no matter what is going on around you. Practicing self-care grounds us in the way an anchor grounds a ship. More than likely I will share things you may have heard before, but this time you may hear them differently. For some reason, you are reading this now, and I have to believe that you are ready to make a change. Big or small- you are ready to start putting yourself at the top of the list.
Emotions are tender, days and nights are long, and missing our military heroes is not a task for the weak. Take a moment right now to appreciate your strength. Seriously. Regardless of what "step" you are in...you have already proven you are stronger than you ever thought you were. The only question is if you took the time to celebrate your strength. You should...always.
I look forward to getting to know you...
